Client Virtualization

Client virtualization is a desktop virtualization technology used to separate a computer desktop environment from the physical computer (a single desktop computer hosting a single guest virtual machine). Its operating system runs within an application (virtualization software) that abstracts actual hardware into a standard set of virtual hardware consisting of virtual disks, virtual CPUs, virtual memory, virtual display, and virtual serial ports.
